Today I woke up early to say goodbye to Jaime and Mark who hosted me. They were really kind and I felt very fortunate to have a safe place to stay at the end of my trip across Canada. After I said goodbye, I began to prepare everything for the trip in the afternoon. I got to the train station and loaded my stuff. Next I went to a Korean restaurant where my friend Senghyen worked in Halifax and I I received a free meal from them. Senghyen was the Korean friend who I met in Sault Ste. Marie. He was travelling across the country East to West while I traveled from West to East. Finally I arrived at his restaurant--he had told his coworkers and boss about me so they received me in open arms. It was nice to walk into a room of kind faces who had heard all about my trip. Unfortunately I had to eat quickly and then continue on my way because my train was going to leave.
With little time to spare, I ran to grab some souvenirs and then jumped on the train.
